Graffiti Shield

The deformation of substrates by paint and marker pen graffiti is unsightly, but is easy to remove and the substrate shows no sign of the attack. Graffiti scratched or etched into the glass window is more unsightly as you expect to see through a glass window. The remedy for this type of graffiti was to replace the window ramping up the costs considerably. Bingham Rail TrainCare has developed a process of glass restoration that brings the glass back to a crystal clear pane, saving the costs of removal and replacement.

The damaged glass is ground with a series of diamond abrasives and a special transparent film is then applied to give a perfect laminate. The window looks as good as new, but the benefits double if the window is subjected to further attacks. The Bingham process can remove damaged film allowing a replacement film to be applied in rapid time. Bingham cut the film on a profile machine and have templates for all carriages in use today.
